Your investment in education

At Great Southern Grammar, families matter. That’s why we work hard to keep our fees as affordable as possible.

Our open enrolment and scholarship opportunities mean we offer thoughtful, considered care to a diverse group of students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Twelve.

Our approach is tailored to your child’s needs, and our graduating students are in demand, whether they’re pursuing a pathway to university, TAFE, or the workplace.

See our full fee schedule and conditions for 2025.

Application

When you complete your Application for Admission, you’ll pay a $50 non-refundable fee to cover the administration costs associated with each application.

Endowment

An Endowment Fee of $2,000 for all new students confirms your child’s place at the school. Once you’ve paid this fee, the enrolment process is complete! The non-refundable, non-transferable fee is used to support the quality of buildings and facilities on campus.

Tuition and levies

Most of your child’s textbooks, excursions, and after-school academic support are included in their tuition fees.

Your child’s compulsory school uniform, personal stationery, music tuition, workbooks and some textbooks are not covered by their tuition fees, nor are the costs associated with some voluntary events during the year.

ICT levy

The ICT levy supports GSG’s one-to-one policy that sees students in Primary School (up to Year Three) provided with classroom devices, and a take-home device for students in Years Four to Twelve.

Boarding students

Our residential boarding fees cover 24/7 care and support of your child. All of the following are included in your child’s boarding fees:

  • welcoming accommodation
  • healthy meals and snacks
  • supervision and support
  • a weekly activities programme
  • laundry services
  • travel supports for off-site appointments and other commitments

Tuition and boarding fees are charged to family accounts each term and are due to be paid in full at the end of the second week of term.

At GSG, you're family

We work hard to make our fees as clear and transparent as possible. And we understand that, for some families, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly installments are more manageable than lump-sum payments.

If you’d prefer to spread your fees evenly throughout the year, or even extend payments for up to five years after your child graduates, EdStart* might suit you.

If you’re experiencing financial hardship, we’re here to help. Contact our Business Manager, Andrew Orr, for more information.

*GSG does not provide recommendations, brokering, or financial advice services. The School doesn’t receive referral fees, commissions, or remuneration of any kind from EdStart.

Assistance for boarders

Immunisation requirements

As of 22 July 2019, parents/guardians of children enrolling in long daycare, family daycare, pre-kindergarten or kindergarten are required to provide the child’s current Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement.

This report demonstrates that your child is up-to-date with scheduled immunisations (according to the National Immunisation Program) for their age. This statement must be no more than two months old. See the fact sheet for more information.

An Exemption Eligibility Form is available from the Department of Health website. This form can be used by our Principal to determine if a child, whose immunisation status is not up-to-date, satisfies any of the listed exemptions.
