The GSG campus has been developed to support a wide range of activities designed to challenge and nurture each student to reach their potential. Purpose-built facilities provide modern, well-appointed classrooms and specialist space for all areas of the school.
In 2011 the School Council undertook a review of the school master plan with a view to providing the best possible environment to facilitate quality teaching and learning for current and future generations of students.
The first stage of the master plan was completed at the commencement of the 2013 school year with a $3.5 million expansion of the Senior School, transforming the learning evironment for Senior School students. The next stage of the Master Plan saw the construction of an additional two boarding houses, once of which opened ready for the 2015 school year and the next in 2016. Additional stages of the Middle and Junior Schools are expected to be developed in coming years.
These developments will complement the existing high-quality, purpose-built facilities such as the state-of-the-art Annette Knight Centre, Learning Information Centre, Multi-Purpose Sport Complex, Tomlinson Courts and modern, well-appointed classrooms.
The school is well supported by an experienced Information Technology department, with a help desk for students and staff. As well as computer laboratories, laptops are available in the Learning Information Centre for student use.
Specialised, well-equipped science laboratories cater for Senior School students studying Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology and Biology, plus a general laboratory for Middle School use.
